As an Application Support Engineer, you will act as software detectives, providing a dynamic service that identifies and solves issues within multiple components of critical business systems. Your typical day will involve collaborating with various teams to troubleshoot and resolve application-related problems, ensuring that systems operate smoothly and efficiently. You will engage in proactive monitoring and maintenance of applications, contributing to the overall reliability and performance of business operations. Your role will also require you to document findings and solutions, facilitating knowledge sharing within the team and enhancing the support process.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Assist in the development and implementation of application support processes and procedures.
- Engage in continuous learning to stay updated with the latest technologies and best practices.
Professional & Technical Skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Azure IaaS
Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure and services.
Experience with troubleshooting and resolving application issues.
Familiarity with monitoring tools and performance tuning.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
