Application Support Engineer

Act as software detectives, providing a dynamic service identifying and solving issues within multiple components of critical business systems.

Must have skills: Data Warehouse ETL Testing

Minimum 3 years of experience is required. Educational Qualification: 15 years full time education.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• 3-7 years QA experience
• Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in ETL testing using ETL tools such as Informatica, Informatica Intelligent Cloud services, BDM
• Proficient in writing SQL and query optimization
• AWS Databricks and python basics knowledge is an added advantage
• Expected to perform independently and become an SME
• Required active participation/contribution in team discussions
• Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems
• Assist in the development and implementation of testing strategies to ensure data integrity and system reliability
• Document and communicate findings effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Professional & Technical Skills:

• Good knowledge of data warehousing concepts and architectures
• Understanding of ETL concepts and data transformation processes
• Review Data Models, Data Mappings, Architectural Documentation to create/execute effective Test Plans and test cases
• Ability to transform complex Business logic into SQL queries
• Analyze and prepare complex test data sets for executing test cases
• Perform data validation and data integrity testing
• Identify, document, and track defects in data workflows
• Knowledge of project management tools (e.g., Jira) and scheduling tools
• Collaborate with data engineers to resolve data quality issues
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
• Familiarity with the Life Sciences industry is added value

Additional Information:

• The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Data Warehouse ETL Testing
• This position is based at our Bengaluru office
• A 15 years full time education is required
