Application Support Engineer

Act as software detectives, providing a dynamic service identifying and solving issues within multiple components of critical business systems.

Must have skills: PeopleSoft Human Capital Management (HCM) Global Payroll

Minimum 5 year(s) of experience is required

Educational Qualification: 15 years full time education

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain technical solutions within the PeopleSoft HCM framework.
  • Customize and enhance components using Application Engine, PeopleCode, Component Interface, Application Packages, and SQL.
  • Collaborate with functional teams to understand and address requirements.
  • Write and optimize SQL queries for performance and data retrieval.
  • Provide production support, troubleshoot issues, and optimize the performance of existing systems.
  • Participate in code reviews, unit testing, system integration testing, and deployment activities.
  • Develop and maintain BI Publisher (BIP) reports.
  • Ensure adherence to documentation and version control procedures.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Payroll Knowledge: Basic understanding of payroll processes, including taxes, earnings, deductions, and insurances.
  • PeopleSoft Technical Skills: Proficiency in PeopleCode, Application Engine, Component Interface (CI), and Component structure.
