Application Support Engineer

Act as software detectives, providing a dynamic service identifying and solving issues within multiple components of critical business systems. Must have skills: Scrum. Minimum 5 year(s) of experience is required. Educational Qualification: 15 years full time education.

As an Application Support Engineer, a typical day involves acting as a software detective by investigating and resolving issues across various components of essential business systems. This role requires a proactive approach to identifying problems, analyzing system behavior, and ensuring smooth operation of critical applications. The position demands continuous monitoring, collaboration with different teams, and delivering timely solutions to maintain system reliability and performance in a dynamic environment.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
  • Responsible for team decisions.
  • Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
  • Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure alignment of support activities with business needs.
  • Mentor junior team members to enhance their problem-solving capabilities and technical knowledge.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize support processes and system stability.

Professional & Technical Skills:

  • Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Scrum.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex software issues and identify root causes.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Experience in managing and prioritizing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to document technical issues and resolutions clearly and concisely.
  • Familiarity with software development lifecycle and agile methodologies.
