Summary: The AWS DevOps Engineer will design, automate, and operate the CI/CD, infrastructure, and observability stack supporting cloud-native data and platform products. The role requires hands-on engineering, solution design, and close collaboration with platform, security, and application teams to ensure reliable, secure, and scalable operations.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Own DevOps design governance and standards for platform operations.
• Drive automation strategy, tool selection, and process optimization.
• Lead incident response, RCA, and reliability improvements.
• Manage multi-team DevOps delivery and coordination.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for platform services and infrastructure components.
• Automate environment provisioning using IaC and cloud-native orchestration.
• Implement end-to-end monitoring, alerting, and logging frameworks.
• Enable secure, scalable deployment processes across multiple platform products.
• Ensure compliance with AWS security standards and organizational guardrails.
• Provide technical guidance to developers and cross-functional teams.

Professional & technical Skills:

• Must Have Skills: AWS core services (EKS, EC2, Lambda, S3, IAM, CloudWatch) CI/CD pipeline development (Bitbucket/Jenkins/GitHub Actions) Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform or CloudFormation) Docker & Kubernetes fundamentals Strong scripting skills (Python/Shell) Databricks DevOps automation Snowflake or Reltio CI/CD Security automation (IAM policies, secrets mgmt.)
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills Ability to lead technical discussions and mentor junior engineers Effective communication across engineering and business teams
