Application Support Engineer

Act as software detectives, providing a dynamic service identifying and solving issues within multiple components of critical business systems. This role requires a proactive approach to identifying problems, analyzing system behavior, and ensuring smooth operation of critical applications. The position demands continuous monitoring, collaboration with different teams, and delivering timely solutions to maintain system reliability and performance in a dynamic business environment.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Perform independently and become an SME.
• Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
• Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand system requirements and troubleshoot complex issues.
• Document findings and solutions clearly to support knowledge sharing and future reference.
• Assist in the continuous improvement of support processes and tools to enhance efficiency.
• Provide guidance and support to junior team members to foster their professional growth.

Professional & Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in SAP ABAP Development for HANA.
• Experience in debugging and analyzing performance issues within SAP environments.
• Strong understanding of database interactions and optimization techniques related to SAP HANA.
• Ability to develop and maintain custom reports, interfaces, and enhancements using SAP ABAP.
• Familiarity with system monitoring tools and incident management processes.

Additional Information:

• The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in SAP ABAP Development for HANA.
• This position is based at our Kolkata office.
• A 15 years full time education is required.
