Must have skills: Java Standard Edition

Minimum three years of experience is required.

Educational qualification: 15 years full time education.

As an Application Support Engineer, a typical day involves acting as a software detective by investigating and resolving issues across various components of essential business systems. This role requires a proactive approach to identifying problems, analyzing system behavior, and ensuring the smooth operation of critical applications. The position demands continuous monitoring, collaboration with different teams, and delivering timely solutions to maintain system reliability and performance in a dynamic environment.

Roles & responsibilities:

• Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
• Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
• Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand system dependencies and impact of issues.
• Document findings and solutions clearly to support knowledge sharing and future troubleshooting.
• Assist in the development and implementation of process improvements to enhance system stability.
• Support junior team members by sharing knowledge and providing guidance on troubleshooting techniques.

Professional & technical skills:

• Proficiency in Java Standard Edition.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex software issues.
• Experience in debugging and troubleshooting multi-component business applications.
• Familiarity with software lifecycle and support processes.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
• Good communication skills to articulate technical information clearly.
