Application Support Engineer

Act as software detectives, providing a dynamic service identifying and solving issues within multiple components of critical business systems. Must have skills: Scrum. Minimum 3 year(s) of experience is required. Educational Qualification: 15 years full time education.

As an Application Support Engineer, a typical day involves acting as a software detective by investigating and resolving issues across various components of essential business systems. This role requires a proactive approach to identifying problems, analyzing system behavior, and ensuring smooth operation of critical applications. The position demands continuous monitoring, collaboration with different teams, and delivering timely solutions to maintain system reliability and performance in a fast-paced environment.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
  • Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
  • Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and support of business applications.
  • Document and communicate findings and resolutions clearly to stakeholders and team members.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of process improvements to enhance system stability and efficiency.

Professional & Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in Scrum.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities with a focus on identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions.
  • Experience in managing and supporting software applications within dynamic business environments.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in agile teams and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Excellent communication skills to facilitate clear and concise information exchange among technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Additional Information:

  • The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Scrum.
  • This position is based at our Mumbai office.
