As an Application Developer, you will engage in the design, construction, and configuration of applications tailored to fulfill specific business processes and application requirements. Your typical day will involve collaborating with team members to understand project needs, developing innovative solutions, and ensuring that applications function seamlessly to support organizational goals. You will also participate in testing and troubleshooting to enhance application performance and user experience, contributing to the overall success of the projects you are involved in.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Expected to perform independently and become an SME
• Responsible for developing new solutions or enhance existing solutions.
• Understand the collection of a series of technologies needed to complete a project/product.
• Create, test, and implement software programs utilizing programming languages.
• Structure, design, implement, and test the project based on one language or more languages.
• Create a prototype design for a product very rapidly with a wide range of techniques.
• Use development frameworks and third-party libraries.
• Responsible for ensuring code quality, effective code coverage.
• Responsible for providing the resolution to the issues raised by Testing team, UAT team and End users.
• Participate proactively in daily standup meetings, story grooming sessions, team retrospectives, suggesting and implementing improvements
• Assist in the documentation of application processes and workflows
• Engage in continuous learning to stay updated with industry trends and technologies.

Professional & Technical Skills:

• Must have Skill: Proficient in developing Workday integrations using Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB) and Core Connectors & templates - outbound/inbound
• Hands-on experience with Workday Studio, including building and deploying simple/complex integrations
• Expert-level skills in XSLT for data transformation and mapping and grasp of XML structure and parsing, as most integration outputs are in XML format
• Good To Have Skills: Ability to troubleshoot and optimize existing integrations for performance and reliability
• Agile/SAFe methologies
• CI/CD Methods
• DevSecOps practices
• Application Security

Additional Information:

• The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Workday Integration
• This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
• A 15 years full time education is required.
