Application Support Engineer
Act as software detectives, providing a dynamic service that identifies and resolves issues within various components of critical business systems. Your typical day will involve collaborating with team members to troubleshoot problems, analyzing system performance, and ensuring the smooth operation of applications that are vital to business functions. Roles and responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines using Azure Data Factory (ADF)
- Build and optimize data solutions with Azure Synapse Analytics
- Develop and manage ETL/ELT workflows from multiple data sources
- Work in client-facing roles to gather requirements and deliver solutions
- Support data modeling, data warehousing, and performance tuning
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize data pipelines
- Collaborating with BI teams Power BI experience is a plus
- Prepare technical documentation and present solutions to stakeholders
Required Skills:
- Strong hands-on experience with ADF and Azure Synapse Analytics
- Solid background in SQL, ETL/ELT, and data warehousing
- Experience in production support and deployments
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
Good to Have:
- Power BI, Azure SQL Database, Azure Data Lake
- Agile/Scrum experience
- DevOps / CI-CD exposure
Soft Skills:
- Strong stakeholder management
- Analytical and problem-solving mindset
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
Additional Information:
This position is based at our Pune office. A 15-year full-time education is required.
