Software Development Lead
Act as software detectives, providing a dynamic service identifying and solving issues within multiple components of critical business systems. As a Software Development Lead, you will be responsible for developing and configuring software systems, either end-to-end or for specific stages of the product lifecycle. Your typical day will involve collaborating with various teams, applying your knowledge of technologies and methodologies, and ensuring that the software solutions meet client requirements effectively and efficiently. You will engage in problem-solving and decision-making processes that impact the project and the team, fostering an environment of innovation and excellence.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Act as an SME for Windchill Data Migration using WBM and ETL tools.
- Collaborate with business and technical teams to analyze and validate migration requirements.
- Own migration strategy, mapping, transformation logic, and execution.
- Ensure data quality, performance optimization, and error handling during migration.
- Provide post-migration validation, reporting, and knowledge-sharing sessions.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Expertise in Windchill Bulk Migrator (WBM) and ETL tools (Prostep, Informatica, Talend, or similar).
- Strong understanding of Windchill data model, CAD/Document structures, and business objects.
- Experience in data mapping, transformation, and performance tuning for large-scale migrations.
- Familiar with Java, XML, SQL, and Info*Engine for custom migration solutions.
- Ability to troubleshoot migration failures, optimize load performance, and work in Agile environments.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 6 years of experience in PTC Windchill.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
