Summary: As an Application Support Engineer, you will act as software detectives, providing a dynamic service that identifies and resolves issues within various components of critical business systems. Your typical day will involve collaborating with different teams, analyzing system performance, and ensuring the smooth operation of applications to support business objectives. You will engage in problem-solving activities, utilizing your expertise to enhance system reliability and efficiency while maintaining a proactive approach to service delivery.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Design, configure, and manage TWS/IWS platforms.
  • Build and support high-availability environments in AWS.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve advanced technical issues related to job scheduling and platform performance.
  • Implement disaster recovery strategies in AWS and support business continuity.
  • Manage platform upgrades, patches, and performance tuning.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to L1/L2 support teams.
  • Collaborate with vendors for patches, upgrades, and support.

Professional & Technical Skills:

  • Advanced knowledge of TWS and IWS job scheduling.
  • Strong experience with AWS, Linux/UNIX, shell scripting, and DB2.
  • Expertise in disaster recovery, platform migration, and high-availability setups.
  • ITIL and IBM Tivoli certifications is a plus.
  • Experience with ServiceNow and troubleshooting complex technical issues.

Additional Information:

The candidate should have a minimum of 7.5 years of experience in Batch Scheduling Tools & Techniques. Need technology experience resource who can manage the overall batch operations and orchestration. Specifically, they need someone with expertise in IBM Tivoli. A 15 year full time education is required.
