The Position

The position will be filled in the Northern region in the Structural Heart department at Abbott Medical GmbH. Our mission is to restore health and improve the quality of life by developing and providing device and management solutions for the treatment of structural heart diseases.

Your Tasks:

  • Sales responsibility for assigned target customers
  • Responsible for implementing customized concepts and strategies for cardiac surgery business development
  • Active customer support, especially to commercial contacts, chief physicians, senior physicians, purchasing, and controlling
  • Responsible for all professional and administrative activities in customer service
  • Implementation of new product introductions (including product training and support in the operating room)
  • Quarterly and annual discussions with all customers regarding the development of business relationships
  • Presence at local and national symposia

Your Qualification:

  • Completed university degree - ideally in economics, medical technology, or comparable vocational training
  • Several years of successful professional experience in sales
  • Skill in dealing with various decision-makers in the hospital staff
  • Structured and process-oriented working method
  • Very good negotiation and sales skills
  • Excellent communication and team skills
  • Flexibility, adaptability, and a positive approach to change
  • High willingness to travel, initiative, and above-average commitment
  • Good MS Office and English skills as well as system affinity
