Technical Sales Engineer At Abbott Rapid Diagnostics

The technical sales engineer at Abbott Rapid Diagnostics is responsible for achieving sales objectives in the PACA region (84,13,06,04,05,2A,2B,83). They contribute actively to the company's growth by promoting, marketing, and following up on sales of products to public and private accounts. This role involves direct interaction with various stakeholders in different markets, focusing on the development of key accounts and the promotion of products for the infectious diseases division.

Responsibilities include developing and maintaining revenue, prospecting and following up on accounts, managing the portfolio, and implementing action plans to achieve sales objectives. The technical sales engineer must also install instruments, train users, and follow up on prospects generated by the marketing team. They are responsible for the smooth execution of commercial actions, managing tenders, and preparing commercial proposals.

Knowledge, experience, and skills:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in the commercial or applied environment in biology/diagnostics
  • Experience in medical analysis laboratories and hospital environments
  • Problem-solving skills with a focus on results and customer satisfaction
  • IT & office skills (CRM, Microsoft Office, SAP…)
  • Operational level of English

  • Good listening and excellent communicator
  • Team spirit, collaborative approach
