As a Field Technical Engineer AF, you provide practical and theoretical clinical support for the Abbott AF division, with a focus on the EnSite system, Claris system, and the EP/AF product portfolio. You support both existing and potential external customers, with a specific focus on the released EnSite and EP/AF products. The activities of the FTE are primarily focused on strategic support as determined by the FTE Manager AF and the sales plans of the Country Manager AF.

Responsibilities

• You are familiar with the complete Abbott AF product portfolio. You understand and can professionally present the clinical benefits of each product, as well as the considerations compared to alternative therapeutic approaches.
• You develop and present educational programs based on the company's customer support concepts, as agreed with the FTE Manager AF. This includes training for new users, start-up programs, attendance at EP procedures, and follow-up.
• You provide technical support when requested, both to AF employees and to customers, with a focus on the Netherlands.
• You promote and sell the complete AF product portfolio within the Netherlands.
• You develop training and support programs for customers in the Netherlands.
• You identify potential spokespersons/publicists for clinical product data.
• You participate in local and international workshops.
• You are fully trained in the Abbott EP portfolio and provide back-up support when needed.

Education & Competencies

• Preferably EHRA-qualified, with extensive experience in the theory and practice of clinical pacing.
• Fluent in English.
