Field Technical Engineer / Applikationsspezialist Elektrophysiologie - Region Franken

In the role of Field Technical Engineer / Applikationsspezialist Elektrophysiologie, you will provide medical and technical support for the electrophysiology product portfolio with a focus on 3D-mapping, catheters, and sluices for the treatment of heart rhythm disorders. You will work closely with the regional team and sales leadership to provide medical and clinical service to customers.

Responsibilities include:

• Medical and technical support of the electrophysiology product portfolio
• Conducting product training in hospitals and providing consultation, accompaniment, and support during the procedure
• Responsible for increasing the use of Abbott products during a procedure
• Presenting new Abbott products and highlighting their application possibilities
• Initiating customer training and education to promote the optimal use of the EnSite system
• Initiating studies in collaboration with customers and in coordination with the study department
• Performing troubleshooting on the system, possibly with support from the technician or support from corresponding specialists within the company
• Supporting marketing campaigns and product trials as directed by the marketing department

Requirements include:

• Training in a scientific, medical, or technical field (not necessarily a university degree)
• General medical and technical knowledge, preferably with prior experience in the field of cardiology (not mandatory)
• Excellent German and good English language skills
• High flexibility and a strong willingness to travel
• Good IT skills
• Strong communication skills, self-motivation, and the ability to organize oneself
• Ability to work in a team and be fully mobile, even on short notice
• A valid driver's license in Germany
