Field Technical Engineer / Applikationsspezialist (w/m/d) Elektrophysiologie

In the role of Field Technical Engineer / Applikationsspezialist (w/m/d) Elektrophysiologie, you will provide medical and technical support for the Abbott Medical GmbH in Eschborn. You will be responsible for the care of customers in the medically/clinical service in close coordination with the regional team and sales management.

Tasks:

• Medical and technical support of the electrophysiology product portfolio, focusing on 3D-mapping, catheters, and sluices for the treatment of heart rhythm disorders
• Conducting product training in hospitals and providing consultation, accompaniment, and support during the procedure on-site
• Responsible for increasing the use of Abbott products during a procedure
• Presenting new Abbott products and demonstrating their application possibilities
• Initiating customer training and education to promote the optimal use of the EnSite system
• Initiating studies together with customers and coordinating with the study department
• Performing troubleshooting on the system, possibly with support from technicians or specialists within the company. Hospital internal processes will be taken into account
• Support the marketing department in marketing campaigns and product trials

Requirements:

• Training in a scientific, medical, or technical profession (does not necessarily require a university degree)
• General medical and technical knowledge is advantageous, ideally first experience in the field of cardiology (not mandatory)
• Very good German and good English language skills
• Great flexibility and a high willingness to travel
• Good IT skills
• Excellent communication skills, self-motivation, ability to self-organize, and a high level of empathy
• Balance and the ability to work in a team-oriented manner, as well as unrestricted, even short-term mobility
• A valid driver's license in Germany
