Field Technical Engineer/Applikationsspezialist (W/M/D) Elektrophysiologie - Region Hamburg/Hannover

At Abbott Medical GmbH, we are looking for a Field Technical Engineer/Applikationsspezialist (w/m/d) Elektrophysiologie in the region of Hamburg/Hannover. This position is for the Außendienst, home-office based for the Hamburg/Hannover area.

In this role as a Field Clinical Specialist/Field Technical Engineer, you will provide medical and technical support to the electrophysiology product portfolio with a focus on 3D-mapping, catheters, and shunts for the treatment of arrhythmias. You will work closely with the regional team and sales leadership to provide medical/clinical service.

Responsibilities:

• Medical and technical support of the electrophysiology product portfolio
• Conduct product training in hospitals and provide consultation, support, and guidance during procedures
• Increase the use of Abbott products during procedures
• Present new Abbott products and highlight their application possibilities
• Initiate customer training and education to promote optimal use of the EnSite system
• Initiate studies in collaboration with customers and in coordination with the study department
• Perform troubleshooting on the system, possibly with support from the technician or support specialists within the company
• Support marketing campaigns and product trials as directed by the marketing department

Requirements:

• Training in a scientific, medical, or technical field (higher education not required)
• General medical and technical knowledge, preferably with prior experience in cardiology
• Good English and very good German language skills
• Good IT skills
• Strong communication skills, self-motivation, ability to organize oneself, and high level of empathy
• Ability to work as part of a team and unrestricted mobility, including short-term travel
• A valid driver's license in Germany
