Your Role: Own The Challenge/Take On The Journey
- Battery cell, system and supplier qualification.
- Support Sales, Engineering, Product Management and Service on advanced issues. Support Product Manager in developing ABB portfolio road map based on battery suppliers' development and technology trends.
- Collect, analyze, and evaluate information and data about technologies and market. Maintain technical product documentation and application guidelines. Maintain and share technical know-how of the product within the organization.
- Battery system design and dimensioning. Work on assigned R&D tasks. Refinement of existing and development of new sales support and engineering tools.
What It Takes To Run What Runs The World
- A B.Sc. or M.Sc. degree in electrical, electrochemical, or control engineering. Alternatively, relevant experience can be considered.
- 3-6 years' working experience.
- Experienced in Electrical engineering within marine systems or similar.
- Background in Li-ion battery systems from automotive, stationary, marine or similar.
- Experience in Battery Management Systems, embedded systems and state estimation is an advantage.
- Result oriented and able to work as part of a team and as an individual.
- English fluently.
