Your role at a glance
As a Sales Support Specialist – Customer Support, you are the key link between the customer and the organization.
You ensure that customer inquiries, orders, and administrative processes run smoothly and accurately — from request to invoicing.
Together with Sales, Operations, and Supply Chain, you create a seamless customer experience.
What will you do?
In this role, you combine customer interaction, coordination, and administrative work within a technical environment.
Key responsibilities
Customer Support & Order Management
- Coordinate and resolve customer inquiries in collaboration with internal teams
- Process and follow up on orders (quotations, planning, and invoicing)
- Ensure timely and accurate order handling
- Act as the main point of contact and escalation point for customers
Customer experience & communication
- Proactively inform customers about the status of their requests
- Ensure a consistent and positive customer experience
- Align closely with Sales, Service, and Supply Chain
Data & performance
- Analyze forecasts and sales performance
- Prepare reports and share insights
- Contribute to continuous process improvement

What you bring
- MBO level 4 (vocational education), preferably in an administrative field
- 3–5 years of experience in customer support, sales support, or order management
- Strong administrative skills and attention to detail
- Technical affinity (experience in an industrial environment is a plus)
- Proactive and flexible mindset
- Good command of Dutch and English (minimum B2 level)
- French is a plus (for supporting Belgian customers)

- Location: Rotterdam Waalhaven
- Work model: Hybrid (3 days in the office / 2 days from home)
- Hours: 40 hours per week
