This position reports to Sales Support Specialist.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to support the assigned Sales organization (division and market) and customers during the proposal process. Each day, you will serve as a key technical resource in the assigned area. You will also showcase your expertise by preparing technical descriptions of the products and technology, determining costs, and preparing final documentation.

The work model for the role is: #LI Hybrid.

This role is contributing to the Process Automation Business of Measurement and Analytics Division for Bangalore.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Support the sales team in identifying technically suitable and cost-effective solutions based on customer requirements.
  • Prepare technical and commercial proposals as per customer specifications and internal guidelines.
  • Provide basic technical support during customer discussions and internal project meetings.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to collect required technical and commercial information for proposals.
  • Review customer requirements and support the team in analyzing competitor offerings and market information.
  • Maintain proposal documentation and ensure timely submission of offers.
  • Assist in tracking proposal outcomes and support basic analysis for continuous improvement.

Qualification for the role:

  • Good knowledge of field instrumentation used for measuring and monitoring flow, level, pressure, and temperature parameters.
  • Hands-on experience in product selection and configuration, preparation of techno-commercial quotations, technical document review, vendor coordination, cost estimation, and clarification of technical queries.
  • Familiarity with sales operations and CRM tools such as Salesforce Opportunity Management, Reports, and Dashboards.
  • Exposure to international engineering and instrumentation standards including ISA, API, ANSI/ASME, ISO, IEC, and PIP.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • B.E. / B.Tech in Instrumentation Engineering or related discipline.
  • 2–3 years of relevant experience in sales support, bid management, proposals within instrumentation domain.
