Your Role and Responsibilities

Local Business Line/Product Line Sales Manager of Grid Components is one of key leaders in Electrification Distribution Solution China. Drive mid-long term sales strategy to ensure sustainable growth in local market for accountable Business or Product line APP & LPP. Not limited by the boundary, representing overall ELDS portfolio wherever is needed. Acting as key interface to local market and customer-centric value driver. Lead customer intimacy approaches within the Sales team and LBL organization to ensure our go-to-market flow & process joint well with our products & solutions, continuously fulfilling customer current & future needs.

You will be mainly accountable for:

  • Being key player in Local Business Line/Product Line mid & long-term business planning, lead and execute sales plan according to the LPP and APP, defining sales targets and establishing appropriate metrics and measurement tools to monitor performance. Drives beyond the targets!
  • Demonstrates leadership in sales team beyond the boundaries of product line, customer centric and outside-in thinking to facilitate best customer value, overall portfolio solutions sales approaches in defined regions.
  • Identifies new opportunities in key segments with existing and potential customers, leads and coordinates ABB team to capture the opportunities with customer satisfaction.
  • Understand well and building relation with key customers and segments, define & implement sales strategies to increase SOW in key customers and segments.
  • Anticipates and identifies the shortfalls when there are risks, takes appropriate remedial actions proactively to fight for the targets.
  • Identifies and manages potential risks related to contract agreements across customers/channels. Participates in the negotiation of key contracts.
  • Develops, reviews, implements and improves sales process and tools to enhance sales effectiveness. Performs organization competence assessment, facilitates proper training and up-skills mechanism to build result oriented, competent, effective and high-performance team.
