This position reports to: SSU Manager
Your Role and Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end operations for our Strategic Supply Unit including European Distribution Center operated by a 3PL-run and in-house modification/CTO workshop. Own safety, quality, delivery, cost, and compliance. Drive the operating system (standards, routines, governance), align S&OP with Planning, and build a high-performing, learning-oriented culture to deliver short lead times, high reliability, and cost-efficient service.

This role is contributing to the Motion - IEC LV Motors in Europe.
You will be mainly accountable for:
- Maintaining compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations while monitoring and reporting progress and results.
- Owning the operating performance of the Strategic Supply Unit including EDC and modification workshop: safety, quality, delivery and cost.
- Preparing annual budget, overseeing progress, and determining measures to address cost-related issues as necessary, to manage operations within the allocated budget and resources.
- Ensuring that your own area of responsibility is properly organized, staffed, skilled, and directed.
- Influencing 3PL leaders to drive performance, safety culture, and customer-centric behaviors.
- Ensuring that the organization takes into account an overall value chain perspective to meet customer expectations as per agreed quality, service levels, and lead time.

Qualifications for the Role
- 10+ years in EDC/warehouse operations and 3PL management within industrial manufacturing.
- Demonstrated success in contract/SLA governance, performance turnarounds, and continuous improvement with 3PL providers.
- Hands-on experience setting up and/or running modification/CTO operations.
- Strong ERP/WMS/TMS proficiency (SAP preferred); data analytics and KPI management.
- Solid knowledge of EU trade compliance, Incoterms, and logistics regulatory frameworks.
- Proven Lean/CI practitioner, certification a plus.
- Excellent leadership, stakeholder management. English language proficiency allowing for effective communication, and fluent command of Polish is a must.
- Category B driving license and willingness to business travel.
