This role is contributing to the Electrification Smart Power Division in Napier, NZ.

Your role and responsibilities include:

  • Capture and analyse production and operational data to support performance visibility.
  • Design and build interactive dashboards that make key performance indicators clear and actionable.
  • Ensure data accuracy and integrity using modern systems and methods.
  • Monitor manufacturing metrics (such as throughput, yield, and downtime) and help identify trends, bottlenecks, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to provide reporting and insights that contribute to continuous improvement.
  • Explore and suggest new technology tools to enhance data collection and reporting.

Qualifications for the role include:

  • An interest in manufacturing processes and operational performance, with a willingness to learn about KPIs, metrics, and Lean Six Sigma principles.
  • Strong skills in Excel and an interest in learning tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or SQL.
  • Curiosity for how data can improve real-world processes.
  • Strong attention to detail, problem-solving mindset, and a willingness to learn.
  • Good communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with the Integrated Production Unit team and wider stakeholders.
  • Current NZ residency and the right to work in NZ.
