Your Role And Responsibilities
Led the design and development of the product for low-voltage systems. The work model for the role is: onsite. This role is contributing to the Smart Building division in China. You will be mainly accountable for:
- Led to complete the design and development of low-voltage products (circuit breaker and accessories, Surge Protection Device, Smart Auto-Reclosing Breakers, etc.) according to market demand and the requests of market strategic development to ensure technological leadership and market competitiveness.
- Propose innovative mechanical structure solutions aligned with industry trends (e.g., smartization, modularization), and drive patent portfolio development. Lead mechatronic system design, coordinate cross-functional teams (mechanical, electronics, materials, and manufacturing), and optimize product architecture design
- Resolve complex technical challenges (e.g., miniaturization design, thermal management optimization, mechanical durability enhancement) to ensure products meet performance, cost and reliability requirements.
- Collaborate with suppliers to drive the adoption of new materials and advanced manufacturing processes in low-voltage power distribution products. Track emerging technologies and spearhead the commercialization of breakthrough innovations.
Qualifications For The Role
- Master's degree, major in mechanical engineering and material related professional
- 10+ years professional experience in LV circuit protection device mechanical engineering, with minimum 3 years project management experience.
- Led the complete design-to-production process for at least two power distribution products. Good knowledge in ProE/CreO. Much experience in mechanical design
- Proficient in metallic materials (copper alloys, etc.), electrical contact materials (AgC, Ag-Ni, etc.), and engineering plastics (PA, PBT, etc.), including their properties and manufacturing processes. Proficient in DFM/DFA (Design for Manufacturing/Assembly) methodologies, have experience in simulation analysis
- Familiar with power distribution system product standards (e.g., IEC/GB standards), with preference given to candidates who have participated in developing national/industry/association standards
- Ability to communicate in English, both written and oral. Strong communication skills with the ability to efficiently coordinate cross-functional collaboration. Highly responsible, self-motivated and autonomous at work
- A very strong learning ability and pragmatic spirit. Has a positive progressive attitude under pressure to work. Leadership and project management skills
