This position reports to: Local Division Manager

Your Role and Responsibilities

Do you want to make your own impact for the Finland carbon neutral targets? Drive control and energy efficient motors play a major role in electrifying the industry in an energy efficient way. Join our market leading company and be part of the Energy Efficiency Movement.

We are seeking a Key Account Manager to join ABB's Motion Drive Products sales team in Finland. In this position you will be in charge of drives, PLC and motors sales for our defined machinery OEM customers in Finland. Your key task is to develop ABB offering to meet customer demand and solve the challenges they face with the tight collaboration with local and global team.

The location for the position can be Helsinki or other agreed location in Finland. Work requires willingness to travel in Finland.

You will be mainly accountable for:

  • Developing and implementing account plans
  • Developing partnership with the customer and connections at all levels from top management to operational functions
  • Sales responsibility of motors, drives and PLC for the customer
  • Providing customers with technical and commercial support that consistently meets high standards
  • Developing ABB offering and solutions forward with the local team to meet customer demand
  • New customer acquisition

Your Background

  • You are results-oriented and business development oriented
  • You have a customer-oriented mindset, and you collaborate effectively with colleagues and are skilled at stakeholder management
  • It is essential that you are at ease in communicating in Finnish and in English, both written and spoken
  • Experience in industrial applications and solutions is relevant
  • Basic knowledge in electrical motors and drive systems; deep knowledge a big plus
  • Sales experience, especially in Key Account Manager role is a plus but not mandatory
  • B.Sc. or M.Sc. degree in engineering or economics or equivalent is required
