The job in short

As an Inside Sales Specialist, you are the technical specialist in our sales team. From the region of Rotterdam, you work for the division of Process Industries, specialized in automation and drive systems for, among others, the paper and metal industry. You are the crucial link between our customers, the sales team, and our engineers – a true pivotal position where you can make a difference!

What will you do?

This is not a standard quotes-typing-behind-your-desk job. You will pick up the phone, call customers, and dive into their issues. What does the customer exactly want? How do we translate that technically into the best solution? Together with the customer and your technical colleagues, you work this out and turn it into offers that are truly distinctive.

You combine the best of two worlds:

Technical: You are the go-to person for technical questions about drive, control, and automation systems. You advise customers on the right choices and stay updated on the latest developments through contact with our international factories.

Commercial: You determine prices and delivery times. You manage, guide, and monitor the application procedures, build relationships with customers, and ensure that your offers score on both form and content.

You work closely with the engineers, support the outside service team, and keep everything running smoothly. You do this in an international environment where you regularly speak with colleagues worldwide.

Who are we looking for?

You have completed an MBO or HBO Associate Degree in electrical engineering or mechatronics. Whether you are just out of school or have years of experience: we have a place for you! We fully train starters in this role, both technically and commercially. If you have experience, you can directly apply your knowledge and further develop it.

You are a technician with commercial flair – you understand technology and you don't mind picking up the phone.

You work well in a team and are results-oriented. You can also work independently and find your own way within our company.

You enjoy diving into both small and large (new) requests.

You have a proactive approach to seize new opportunities.

You communicate easily and can explain technical matters clearly.

You are eager to learn and want to develop yourself.

Good command of Dutch and English.

Skillful with Office 365.

Experience is a plus, but not necessary – we ensure your development!
