This Position reports to:

Field Service Manager

Your Role: Own The Challenge

In this role, you will have the opportunity to execute service work with low to medium complexity as per work instructions and in accordance with ABB standard processes, quality standards, and safety guidelines. Each day, you will plan and execute work on a first-time right approach with customers. In this role, you will highlight your knowledge by exhibiting an understanding of urgency and diligence within your specific area.

  • Your responsibilities include installation, maintenance, repair, consulting, and other service tasks, both remotely and on-site, with a focus on customer needs and high service quality.

  • You ensure customer satisfaction and needs identification, meeting customer expectations by recognizing and anticipating current and future requirements.

  • Effective troubleshooting and proactive measures through device fault diagnosis, preventive error avoidance, and close collaboration with internal partners.

  • Identification of sales opportunities and process optimizations to improve customer service and operational business, in cooperation with the relevant departments.

What it takes to Run what runs the world

  • Completed higher education (HTL or FH) or alternatively, a technical apprenticeship in the field of mechatronics or electromechanics.

  • More than 3 years of professional experience in maintenance or troubleshooting as a technician in the industrial sector.

  • In-depth knowledge and practical experience in the maintenance, upkeep, and repair of electromechanical systems.

  • In possession of a Class B driver's license and a valid work permit in Austria.

  • Highly proficient in MS Office.

  • Fluent in German and possesses proficient English language abilities.

  • High willingness to travel for business within Austria.

In accordance with the collective agreement for the electrical and electronics industry in Austria, the minimum salary for this position is € 3,400 gross per month as of May 2025. There is a clear willingness to offer compensation above the collectively agreed minimum salary, depending on qualifications and experience.
