This Position Reports To

Field Service Manager

Your Role and Responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

• Work independently to install, modify, test, repair, or inspect company products and equipment including, but not limited to: low voltage and medium voltage circuit breakers, transformers, switchgear, protection relays, and rotating machinery.
• Perform or coordinate complex and diverse engineering activities associated with field projects.
• Interpret technical drawings and schematics and make changes as necessary in the field to reflect work carried out on site.
• Assist the business development unit with technical knowledge for generating quotations and proposals.

The work model for the role is: remote. This role is contributing to the Measurement and Analytics group in Houston, TX or Miramar, FL.

Qualifications for the Role

• Three or more years' experience in marine power generation and power distribution with a focus on circuit breaker and switchgear maintenance.
• Strong knowledge of protection relays and excitation.
• Associates Degree in engineering or other technical field.
• Alternately a special combination of education and experience and/or demonstrated accomplishments.
• Familiarity with marine/offshore work environment and procedures.
