This position reports to:

Service Operations Manager

In this role, you have the opportunity to perform service work according to the work instructions and in compliance with ABB's quality and safety guidelines. Daily, you provide high-quality customer service, plan and execute service work according to customer orders and expectations. You also demonstrate your expertise by ensuring customer retention by effectively communicating the timeframe and expectations for the service work.

This role is a component of electrification, service across Switzerland. Possible employment locations in Baden, Morges, and Zuzwil.

You will be primarily responsible for:

• Responsibility for technical tasks at the customer in the medium and low voltage area.
• Responsibility for time, quality, and cost specifications as well as cooperation with the service project management and the service field management.
• Transmission of necessary changes according to quality assurance, compliance with work instructions, regulations, and safety standards as well as submission of time reports and expenses.
• Orientation of customers about the service offerings of ELSE and ABB Switzerland AG as well as acquisition of further orders.

Qualifications for the role:

• Completed training as an electrician or automation technician with several years of professional experience, ideally supplemented by knowledge in copper construction and machine processing.
• Sound knowledge in electrical and automation technology as well as in the handling of mechanical machines.
• Strong affinity for processes and structured work along defined procedures.
• Very good communication skills and the ability to convey technical content clearly and customer-oriented.
• High level of quality awareness, self-responsibility as well as flexibility and resilience.
• Good MS-Office skills as well as willingness to high travel and on-call duties within Switzerland.
• Very good German language skills, basic knowledge of English (French is advantageous) as well as a valid driver's license category B.
