This position reports to:

Haemme käyttöönottoinsinöörejä ABB Oy:n Marine Service -yksikköön Helsinkiin. Tehtävässä vastaat joko ABB Azipodien®, propulsiotaajuusmuuttajien tai kytkintaulujen käyttöönotosta telakkatyömailla. Telakat sijaitsevat pääosin Euroopassa, joten tehtävä ei vaadi jatkuvaa läsnäoloa Helsingissä.

Käyttöönottoinsinöörinä vastaat ABB:n Azipod®-propulsioyksiköiden, propulsiotaajuumuuttajien tai generaattoreiden ja päätaulujenkäyttöönotoista. Raportoit Field Service Managerille ja toimit osana telakalla toimivaa ABB:n käyttöönottotiimiä. Tehtävässä varmistat, että käyttöönottotoimenpiteet toteutuvat tehokkaasti asiakasvaatimusten, standardien ja turvallisuusmääräysten mukaisesti.

Tehtävä tarjoaa erinomaisen mahdollisuuden osallistua ABB:n meriliiketoimintaan ja kehittyä ABB-tuotteiden ja -järjestelmien asiantuntijaksi osana puhtaampaa ja älykkäämpää meriliikenteen tulevaisuutta. Kehitämme ABB-osaamistasi laajan kurssi- ja koulutustarjontamme kautta.

Your Responsibilities

• Onboarding processes for ABB Azipod® propulsion systems, propulsion frequency converters, or ship generators and main panels, depending on your background, experience, and interests

• System testing in collaboration with classification societies, shipyards, and customers

• Defining solutions based on business and customer needs

• Lessons learned reporting and feedback process for onboarding projects

• Using and continuously improving processes and tools to ensure effective project implementation

• Readiness to handle warranty and maintenance tasks

Your Background

• Degree in electrical, automation, or other relevant technical fields

• Basic knowledge of electrical engineering and electrical installations

• Ability to work approximately 150 days of travel per year

• Ability to work independently as part of an ABB team on a shipyard site

• Proactive safety, quality, and customer service attitude

• Strong communication skills in both Finnish and English

• Preferred: Experience in shipbuilding or industrial plant commissioning projects, knowledge of ABB marine products and systems, and other language skills
