This position reports to: Sales Manager

Responsibilities

We are looking for an area sales expert to join ABB Oy's regional domestic sales team in the Smart Buildings division, to be responsible for sales in Northern Finland, which extends from Kalajoki to Kajaani and throughout the rest of Finland in the north. In this role, you will have the opportunity to provide ABB's solutions, from piping supplies and electrical installation furniture, to home electrical automation and electrical hubs. Your main focus will be to influence the electrical contractor field. You will use your expertise in defining and implementing marketing and sales strategies to increase market share and ensure profitable and sustainable growth. Every day you will work closely with local ABB sales units, end customers, and various sales channels.

The job location is Oulu. Working requires travel readiness in Finland, mainly in the Northern Finland region.

The working model is hybrid #Li-Hybrid.

You are primarily responsible for the following:

  • Customer relationship management: Creating and maintaining strong customer relationships and increasing current market share. Identifying new opportunities and promoting sales to achieve annual targets.
  • Sales responsibility in the Northern Finland region for the contractor sector (products suitable for ABB's construction sector)
  • Marketing and marketing actions for new and existing solutions to improve customer productivity and customer experience
  • Active customer interaction through regular contact and meetings

Requirements:

  • Ability to build professional networks with business stakeholders is essential
  • Enjoy communicating and presenting, and able to demonstrate negotiation skills
  • You have a customer-oriented mindset and are a team player with excellent social skills
  • You communicate easily in Finnish and English. Other language skills are considered an advantage
  • Ideally, you have a technical understanding and knowledge of the electrification of construction segments and building automation. A degree in electrical engineering or equivalent is an advantage
  • Willingness to travel in Finland, with a primary focus on the Northern Finland region
  • You have sales experience in selling to electrical contractors
