Job Description

The OEM Sales Account Manager targets, coordinates and executes sales strategies for the Original Equipment Manufacturers Segment (OEM) to meet and exceed sales targets by creating added value for the customer and ABB, with a clear focus on increasing market share, profitability, and customer satisfaction.

This position reports to the: National Sales Director - BL Fluid & Material Movement

The role supports the: Fluid Dynamics and material movement division – NEMA - LV Motors

Requirements

  • Promote the sales of Electric Motors within the scope of OEMS in different Market segments, such as Food & Beverage, Water & Wastewater, Mining, and Oil and Gas.
  • Create, implement, and execute sales and account strategy to meet and exceed regional sales targets for OEMS.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships at all levels with key customers as well as market influencers.
  • Develop and support synergies with other ABB business lines and develop joint pursuits to leverage existing ABB customer relationships.
  • Account management and ensures that the major accounts in the segments are identified and prioritized.
  • Maps market requirements and opportunities to action for ABB and coordinates with Divisions, Sales units, and other relevant teams, such as Group/Strategic Account teams, and OEM teams to implement these. Identify, map, convert and onboard new OEM accounts in Quebec and Atlantic provinces

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in French is mandatory, as well as English to communicate effectively with internal clients and partners located outside of Quebec
  • B.Eng, Electrical Motor with experience in technical selling with a proven track record in sales, strategic business development (8 years+)
  • Demonstrated experience in the management of customer accounts and sales strategy
  • Knowledge and experience with CRM platforms, Salesforce.com a plus
  • A collaborative, solution-focused approach, with strong communication and customer relationship-building skills
  • Applicable regional industry knowledge and experience in Serial OEM Development and NEMA Motors is a plus.
  • Ability to travel up to 75% within the Eastern region (Occasional national travel)
