Salesforce Technical Architect

At Emburse, you'll not just imagine the future – you'll build it. As a leader in travel and expense solutions, we are creating a future where technology drives business value and inspires extraordinary results. Our AI-powered platform helps organizations modernize financial operations, increase visibility, and optimize spend across the enterprise.

We are looking for a Salesforce Technical Architect to serve as the master builder of our revenue engine. In a high-growth, private-equity-backed environment, the "plumbing" of our tech stack is the difference between scaling and stalling. You will own the technical roadmap for our global Salesforce ecosystem, moving beyond simple administration to architecting a world-class Lead-to-Cash engine. Reporting directly to the Director of Business Systems, you'll be the bridge between high-level business strategy and technical execution, ensuring our infrastructure supports complex integrations and seamless data flow.

What You Will Do

  • Architect for Scale: Define and drive the long-term technical roadmap for Salesforce, prioritizing security, performance, and multi-year scalability.
  • Master the Lead-to-Cash Flow: Design and optimize complex integrations between Salesforce and external systems (NetSuite, Marketing Automation).
  • Own the Salesforce Integration Strategy: Act as the technical lead standing at the intersection of Saleforce and our other GTM applications, ensuring data integrity and real-time synchronization across the stack.
  • Establish Governance: Set the "gold standard" for our development lifecycle, including coding standards (Apex/LWC), branching strategies, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Modernize & Triage: Proactively identify architectural technical debt and propose clear, actionable modernization strategies to keep our platform lean and performant.
  • Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work closely with the Director of Business Systems and stakeholders across Finance and HR to ensure technical projects directly enable company-wide growth goals.

What You Will Bring

  • Deep Salesforce Expertise: 7+ years of experience in the Salesforce ecosystem, with at least 3 years specifically in a Technical Architect or Solutions Architect capacity.
  • Technical Mastery: Expert-level proficiency in Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), SOQL, and complex Salesforce security models.
  • Boomi Proficiency: Hands-on experience integrating critical applications to Salesforce using Boomi and pre-built connections
  • CPQ Specialization: A proven track record of architecting and implementing Salesforce CPQ within a SaaS or Fintech environment.
  • Credentials: Salesforce Certified Technical Architect (CTA) is a major plus, or a combination of multiple Designer certifications (Data Architecture, Integration Architecture, etc.).

Who You Are

  • A Pragmatic Problem Solver: You understand that in a fast-paced PE-backed company, "done" is often better than "perfect," but you never compromise on system integrity.
  • A Technical Leader: You aren't just a theorist; you are comfortable performing deep-dive code reviews and mentoring developers on best practices.
  • Business-Fluent: You can translate "Technical Debt" into "Business Risk" for the Director of Business Systems and other leadership, ensuring everyone understands the why behind your architectural decisions.
  • An Efficiency Expert: You thrive in environments where you can automate manual processes and streamline data flows to improve the user and customer experience.

Finance is changing—and at Emburse, we're leading the way. Our AI-powered solutions help organizations eliminate inefficiencies, gain real-time visibility, and optimize spend—so they can focus on what's next, not what's slowing them down.
