Travel Support Specialist

Pleasant Holidays, one of the largest travel wholesalers in the U.S. specializing in vacation travel, is seeking a Travel Support Specialist.

Primary Duties:

• Answer and service all incoming departmental calls and emails for Pleasant Holidays and Journese destinations prior to departure and during travel.
• Process specific tasks in addition to incoming calls, such as relocations, schedule changes, document concerns, commission inquiries, etc.
• Research all payment discrepancies, accounting requests, etc., and resolve problems.
• Process booking revisions; apply or waive cancellation or change penalties to bookings with authorized limits
• Secure payments for underpaid bookings.
• Liaise between other departments regarding hotel, air and passenger complaints for all Pleasant Holidays and Journese destinations.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Strong telephone and customer service skills
• Intrinsic motivation and problem solving skills
• Positive "can do" attitude
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and challenging environment
• Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
• Knowledge of CRS/Airline System is a plus
• Must have ATLAS experience
• Must have excellent attendance

Starting pay rate for this position is $21.00 per hour.
