IT Support Associate

We're looking for an IT Support Associate to join our team in Atlanta to support the East Coast.

Our company was founded in 2007, and we have since grown to be the largest residential garage door service in North America, operating in 40 markets across 20+ states. Our company is on a major growth path, with an ambitious goal to grow revenue from $250M/yr to $1B/yr in the next few years.

Our small but mighty team of 3 is focused on delivering impeccable customer experience to our colleagues while supporting operations in the field. This specific role is on-site, with a possibility of hybrid in the future. This new associate will be located in Atlanta, serving East Coast employees.

Key Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and resolve technical hardware and software issues.
  • Provide efficient and effective technical assistance to users via phone, email, or in-person.
  • Perform regular maintenance tasks such as system updates, backups, and security checks.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of support requests and resolutions.
  • Assist in the training of users on new technologies and IT processes.
  • Work closely with other IT team members and departments to ensure smooth IT operations.
  • Set up and configure new hardware and software
  • Allocating, deploying and maintaining hardware asset inventory, including computer equipment and mobile devices.
  • Keeping track of technological advancements and trends in IT support.

Qualifications

  • Associate's degree in Information Technology or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in varying IT support roles.
  • Strong knowledge of computer systems, networks, and software applications.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Customer-focused with a dedication to providing high-quality service.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with remote management applications and help desk software.
  • Experience managing Entra ID, Microsoft 365 and Exchange Online and Intune. CRM experience is preferred (Service Titan)
  • In-depth knowledge of computer hardware, software, and networking.
  • Ability to provide stellar technical support and resolve issues quickly and efficiently.
  • Experience working with various operating systems (Windows, MacOS, iOS, Android)
  • Experience working with the Microsoft Office 365 Suite, along with SharePoint, Visio and Project)
  • Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP), or similar.

Working Conditions

The IT Support Associate will typically work in an office environment but may also need to travel to various company locations. This role may require occasional off-hours and weekend work to perform system maintenance or handle technical support issues.
