About The Role

The QA team at 73 Strings delivers tailored-made test runners, frameworks and test suites for a rich complex webapp and desktop app. As part of this team, you will own end-to-end UI and API functional test suites, test bar, test coverage for an entire area of feature of our webapp. Your missions include creating test code in multiple languages (e.g. TypeScript, Java, C#), leveraging multiple test frameworks (e.g. Playwright, Selenium, REST Assured, JMeter) and contributing to define the test strategy for the feature area that you own (test bar, test coverage, API / UI trade off).

We are looking for a highly skilled QA Automation Engineer with strong hands-on experience in test automation development. The candidate must have solid expertise in automated code programming and the ability to lead end-to-end testing activities across multiple environments.

The ideal candidate also has sufficient technical and programming proficiency to customize or develop new features of the test framework itself (e.g. collect and analyze test results).

High collaboration skills are required in this fast-growing organization. Familiarity with financial domain projects is a plus.

Requirement

5+ years of experience in automation testing

Strong experience in UI test design using Page Object Models, Playwright, Java or TypeScript or C#

Strong experience in API test design using Postman, REST Assured or similar framework

Experience with JMeter or other performance test tool

Exposure to modern UI automation tools

Strong understanding of STLC

Experience working in Agile Scrum or Kanban methodologies

Working knowledge of Git version control, JIRA (Kanban boards, Scrum boards, Issue Management in an Agile work environment)

Proficiency in using AI tools to deliver results

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Nice To Have

Ability to modify or develop custom features in an existing test framework

Experience with CI/CD tools – Jenkins or Azure DevOps

Experience with test reporting and dashboard tools

Experience working on financial domain products
