Service & Repair Technician At 3M Uk, Skelmersdale

As a Service & Repair Technician at 3M UK, Skelmersdale you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world.

Here, you will make an impact by:

  • Carrying out diagnostic review, service and/or repair and replacement of 3M Scott Safety and Peltor products
  • Carrying out the above on site, in the 3M Service Centre or at customer sites, all over the UK
  • Carrying out calibration of testing equipment used for testing 3M safety equipment
  • Ensuring that all service and repair is carried out in a timely manner and all invoices are issued to the customer correctly
  • Ensuring that all records for servicing are correctly and accurately maintained and always up to date
  • Supporting the Servicing manager for audits, customer enquiries, establishing of departmental SOPs, improvements and brainstorming sessions.
  • Ensuring the company commitment to quality and customer care is transmitted to the customers through the servicing function

Your skills and expertise:

  • Technical and mechanical skills or work experience in a workshop
  • HND education at least
  • Time management / communication / teamwork
  • Computer literate and familiarity with SAP and other Microsoft programs ideal
  • Problem solving skills and proactivity attitude
