Logistics Ship/Receive

3M is seeking a Logistics Ship/Receive for its Fall Protection Service & Repair team located in London, CA. The impact you'll make in this role:

  • Receiving inventory into the service and repair center's management system, in accordance with all prescribed safety standards.
  • Direct internal inventory movement, along with communication with material transportation providers
  • Prepares shipments, including packaging and applicable documentation generation
  • Documentation completeness and accuracy; resolving any discrepancies, ensuring end to end traceability.
  • Inventory management/accuracy
  • Collaboration with colleagues to support/level load workload as required in various operational functions
  • Complies with all applicable health and safety regulations and other company-related policies and procedures.

Your skills and expertise:

  • High school diploma/GED or higher (completed and verified prior to start)
  • One (1) year of experience in a manufacturing and/or warehousing environment
  • Post secondary degree preferred
  • Proficient personal computer skills in MS-Windows and Office
  • Familiarity with ERP (QAD and/or SAP)
  • Strong alignment to data accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritize and organize tasks
  • Process flow minded
  • Ability to develop knowledge in alternate administrative and interpersonal skills to fulfill a multitude of tasks as required
  • Work independently with minimal direction
  • Strong communication skills with a team player approach

Work location: On-site, London, CA

Travel: May include up to 5%
