As a Project Engineer, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:

  • Coordinating project timelines, budgets, construction activity, and personnel to successfully complete assigned projects
  • Defining and executing competitive bidding strategy
  • Specifying equipment performance and design criteria
  • Maintaining effective communication with project team, staff, and project owners
  • Establishing accountability through understanding applicable codes and guidelines to ensure designs meet codes, guidelines, and standards

Your Skills and Expertise

To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution.
  • Three (3) years of experience in project management in a private, public, government or military environment
  • Current, valid Driver’s License

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

  • Possess expertise equivalent to that which would be obtained in a bachelor’s degree or higher in chemical, mechanical, or electrical engineering
  • Prior experience with webline, extrusion, material handling, automation or inspection equipment

Work location: Knoxville, IA

Travel: May include up to 20% domestic

Relocation Assistance: May be authorized.
