The purpose of this role is to establish 3M CBTD business in Public Infra segment by identifying opportunities, engaging with key stakeholders and setting up segment partner network. This role will lead efforts on upgrading National standards/specifications.

This position is for Public Infra & Key Account vertical of CBTD. Public infra vertical encompasses all government funded projects which are non-road related. Example – Airports, Railway stations, Metro stations, Government Buildings, Government Hospitals, Universities, Colleges etc. The person hired will be responsible for Sales and Business developmental activities of CBTD products in North Region of India based in Delhi. The person shall promote CBTD products and solutions to different stakeholders in public infra segment (non-road segment). This person will be required to understand government projects, budgets, prioritize segments, map organizations & key stakeholders, engagement with stakeholders, include/upgrade specifications and generate projects. The person will also be responsible for developing a robust channel network for Public Infra Vertical.

Responsibilities:

  • End to end channel & client relationship and Key account management.
  • Coverage of assigned Market / area, demonstration of products & presentation to top officials.
  • Conducting seminars to create awareness and differentiation of the products.
  • Incorporation of product specification in Government tenders
  • Working with standard creation bodies & getting national/state standards/specifications upgraded
  • Shall Demonstrate advanced understanding of customer's requirement, markets and business challenges
  • Develop Opportunity hopper and manage it through Sales Automation tools.
  • Forecasting, sales plan development, marketing plan execution with growth mindset.
  • Achieve targeted sales volumes and value for assigned territory on monthly and year-on-year basis.
  • Channel sales team training, development and managing account receivable.
  • Shall collaborate with cross functional teams for customer service and complaint management.

Your Skills and Expertise:

  • Government Selling experience
  • Strong understanding of government budgets & procurement process
  • Business Management acumen
  • Strong communication & presentation skills
  • Ability to engage & build relationship with Senior government official

Qualifications Required:

Prior work experience (10-12 years) in Government Sales
