Support Engineer I - AU

This is a ground floor opportunity to get involved at an expanding, innovative and international company with a worldwide presence. You will join a team where collaboration, sharing knowledge and exchanging ideas is key. The Perth office offers an informal atmosphere, and colleagues from various countries, backgrounds, and ages.

We are looking for an entry level Support Engineer. This is not your typical help-desk job. You will start with being exposed to our different brands and products, all along while being mentored by experts in the field to ensure your success and growth in the role. We are an international company, and your mentor might be situated in a different country, and you can expect to gain colleagues from around the world.

In the job, you will show an ability to assess customer needs and set expectations. You will be expected to develop areas of expertise with our software products over time. You can expect to assist other Support Engineers at different levels and participate in internal projects. From you as a person, we would like to see accountability or team and individual results. You can expect to work on Saturdays.

You can furthermore expect to work with the following:

  • Perform, with assistance, problem verification by confirming a customer's environment, error messages, and symptoms of a problem.
  • Confirm correct business impact statement is provided by the customer.
  • Research cases using knowledge databases, documentation, etc.
  • Maintain case tracking details to required standard and frequency.
  • Prepare and recommend solutions.
  • Writing collateral at an appropriate level (e.g. technical tips).

We are looking for someone who is eager to learn, and who has a natural curiosity. You don't necessarily need to have a technical background but you need to have an interest in software. When interviewing we are curious about who you are as a person and your interest to grow and learn.

You will join an global Support Team, with friendly and very helpful colleagues.
