CPT-10026 Appointment Setter (Business Support VA)
Independent Contractor – Business Support VA/Junior Senior Level (Remote).
20four7VA is seeking offs hore independent contractors to deliver remote services to clients worldwide, with a primary focus on developed markets such as the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, and Australia.
We are seeking a diligent and highly motivated Appointment Setter to support a fast-growing marketing agency. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a confident phone presence, and proven experience in cold calling or appointment setting for services people weren't expecting—ideally for a marketing agency.
This role focuses solely on appointment setting (no sales)—contacting potential leads, prequalifying them, and scheduling calls with the business owner. The VA will follow provided scripts and use GoHighLevel (GHL) to make and track calls.
Scope of Services
Contractors will be required to provide services that align with the following client tasks:
- Schedule Appointments
- Reach out to potential clients via outbound calls using GoHighLevel.
- Set qualified appointments for the business owner based on provided criteria.
- Follow the call script to ensure consistency and clarity during interactions.
- Lead Prequalification
- Identify and prequalify prospects before scheduling an appointment.
- Ask key questions to ensure leads meet basic requirements for further discussion.
- Maintain and Update Appointment Schedules
- Keep calendars organized and up to date with all booked appointments.
- Notify the business owner of schedule changes, cancellations, or reschedules promptly.
- Appointment Confirmation and Follow-Ups
- Confirm appointments with leads to ensure attendance.
- Conduct brief follow-up calls or messages when needed to reduce no-shows.
- Call Logging and Reporting
- Accurately document all call activities, outcomes, and notes within GoHighLevel.
- Track metrics such as calls made, appointments booked, and conversion rates.
- Client Communication
- Communicate effectively with potential clients to understand their needs.
- Maintain a professional, polite, and enthusiastic tone at all times.
Each engagement is based on a defined scope of work and is governed by an independent contractor agreement. Services must be performed professionally, with adherence to any timelines, guidelines, and deliverables agreed upon in writing.
Skills
The Contractor must demonstrate proficiency in the following, depending on the Client's requirements:
- At least 1–2 years of experience in appointment setting or cold calling (experience in solar or similar industries is a plus).
- Strong English communication skills with a Level A or B accent (native or near-native).
- Comfortable making high-volume outbound calls and handling rejections professionally.
- Experience using GoHighLevel (GHL) or similar CRM/calling tools preferred.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and self-motivated.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Nice to Have: Understanding of digital marketing or agency services
- Senior VA with at least 3 years of experience, though open to a Junior VA with strong experience and communication skills
Work Schedule
- Contracted Hours per Week: 10 Hours
- Scheduled Working Days: Monday through Friday
- Daily Working Time: TBD CST
Note: The Company will make reasonable efforts to align the Assigned VA's schedule with the Client's preferred hours as set forth above. However, availability may vary based on time zones, capacity, and the contracted hours set in this SOW. Any changes must be mutually agreed to in writing through a revised SOW.
Terms of Engagement
- Contractors will operate under a Master Services Agreement and a Statement of Work
- This is not an offer of employment; contractors are not employees of 20four7VA or any client
- All compensation is processed through 20four7VA according to the terms of the engagement
