Fiber Pathway Installation Specialist

ALLO's service depends on a strong fiber backbone and the skilled professionals who build and maintain it. This role combines the responsibilities of fiber pathway installation and structured cabling in commercial and residential environments. Key Responsibilities
- Install EMT/ENT/PVC conduit pathways, CAT6, and fiber optic cabling in commercial buildings and multi-dwelling units (MDUs).
- Dress, route, and terminate fiber optic and low voltage data cabling into data closets, lock boxes, and work areas.
- Perform preventive maintenance and troubleshooting on fiber-optic and low voltage pathways.
- Test and document light levels and cable performance using industry-standard tools.
- Remove abandoned conduit pathways as needed.
- Install structured cabling systems including backbone fiber, horizontal cabling, and associated spaces.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, ladders, and scissor lifts safely and effectively.
- Maintain accurate records of time, materials, and test results using mobile and computer applications.
- Travel to assist outside market BSCT teams and support projects across multiple states. (Very Rare and based on Volunteers if able)
- Work in various environments including outdoors, confined spaces, and at heights.
- Lift and carry up to 80 pounds safely.

- Stand, kneel, bend, crawl, and climb ladders.
Additional Information
- All tools, materials, and work vehicle provided by ALLO.
- Travel is primarily day travel, with occasional extended stays based on project needs.
- Weekly travel to Lincoln and surrounding areas as needed.
- Work in confined spaces and extreme weather conditions.
- Identify different colors for cable work.
- Maintain physical stamina for extended periods on feet.
