IT Infrastructure Solution Engineer

We're looking for an IT Infrastructure Solution Engineer to join us at Telia. I'm Audrius Sabalys, Head of Core Service Delivery team, and I'm searching for someone ready to grow with us! We're a supportive, forward-thinking team focused on hands-on IT infrastructure deliveries with solution design responsibilities.

What you'll do:

This is a self-driven, delivery-focused role requiring strong collaboration across agile teams.

• Design end-to-end IT infrastructure solutions based on business and application needs, while adapting them to our existing strategy and future target architecture;

• Translate requirements into high-level and low-level infrastructure designs;

• Participate in infrastructure deliveries: installation, configuration, expansion, and decommissioning;

• Support investment proposals, cost estimations, and technical evaluations;

• Collaborate closely with architects, application teams, and delivery teams to ensure smooth delivery;

• Contribute to continuous improvement of IT infrastructure services, standard building blocks, and ways of working.

• Proven experience and solid background in IT infrastructure (cloud, virtualization, datacenters, storage, OS);

• Strong knowledge of Linux or Windows administration and IP networking;

• Hands-on experience with VMware and Kubernetes;

• Understanding of SRE principles: networks, firewalls, monitoring, and backup solutions;

• Ability to work across complex stakeholder landscapes;

• Excellent in spoken and written English;

• Bonus points for: experience with IaC (Terraform), container orchestration; understanding of CI/CD pipelines.

Monthly salary range for this position 3600 – 5400 Eur (gross) + annual performance bonuses. Although it may vary depending on your skills and experience.
