My name is Johan Mosén, and I am heading Billing, Charging and Policy (BCP) domain within Telia Technology IT. We are a wonderful team of highly professional experts, responsible for common target IT Development, Operations & Maintenance in the BCP domain. We are running production in three of our countries, with more rollouts in the roadmap for coming years. We are now looking for a DevOps Engineer to join our team.

Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines to ensure smooth and efficient software delivery. Position requires collaboration with development teams to ensure applications are designed with scalability and operability in mind, as well as automating and optimizing infrastructure and processes to enhance efficiency and reliability. Monitoring system performance and troubleshooting issues to maintain high availability and performance is essential. The position also includes implementing security best practices and ensuring compliance with industry standards, working closely with cross-functional teams to support and improve the development lifecycle, and playing a central role in the continuous improvement of production quality.
The work will include 24x7 on-call. Ensure platform and services quality & availability for the benefit of our customers & business.
Who we're looking for…
We are looking for a candidate with expertise in Billing, Charging, or Policy solutions, particularly valuing experience with Oracle BRM, and proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar role. Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools, cloud and containerization technology platforms like Docker, Kubernetes, and Tanzu, along with proficiency in scripting languages, is essential. Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and strong communication and collaboration skills are required. Beneficial experience includes hands-on software development, programming/scripting, familiarity with mobile network architectures, cloud-native infrastructure, and database skills, as well as experience in the telecommunications sector.
We are looking for someone who takes initiative, leads through complexity with passion, possess good interpersonal skills, maintains a positive attitude, high motivation, and a proactive, result-oriented approach. You should be highly self-structured and organized, comfortable working in a rapidly changing environment, quick to learn new knowledge, and able to use current knowledge flexibly. Seeing the big picture while being unafraid to dig into details is crucial.
