The Project Manager will work as part of the Analytics and Decision Support department. The primary purpose of this position will be to progress projects that enable the University through data and information for improved decision making. This position will work closely with business data analysts to develop technical requirements resulting in comprehensive solutions that extract and transform data from multiple Information System sources for business use.
Basic Function
The Project Manager is accountable for the creation, management, and completion of demand and projects resulting in the delivery of Analytics and Decision Support services to the operational business units of the University. This includes ensuring the project scope and requirements are accurate and achieved by the project results to meet the customer needs. Understanding project measures and working proactively to ensure project is meeting expectations, including the completion of weekly reporting of project progress, completed and outstanding tasks as well as new risks identified. Cross-functional collaboration with teams across Information Services to achieve results is critical. Reports potential risks or concerns to the Program Manager and Director of Analytics and Decision Support.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems or related discipline, or equivalent work experience
- Experience or knowledge of project management discipline
- Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills
- Must be highly self-motivated and self-monitoring, and capable of coordinating with highly diverse team members
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledgeable in project management software such as ServiceNow and MS project
- Project +, PMP, PMI, or equivalent certification optional
