The Indirect Operations Processor is responsible for working with dealers and/or third parties ensuring funds are collected for various requests: aftermarket refunds (for total loss, early payoff's, repossession, etc.), chargebacks, Total Loss Insurance and GAP claims, etc. This role also assists members in handling their total loss claim and educating them on the process.
Manages daily operations in processing cancellation requests to dealers and/or aftermarket providers.
Responds to internal and external communication in a timely manner. Consistently follows up with dealers and/or third parties for requested funds, status, and/or documentation.
Consults with manager and/or Wholesale Lending Management team as needed to resolve challenging issues in collecting needed funds or resolving complex issues.
Maintains reporting and tracking for collected funds, pending follow-up's, etc.
Communicates with member regarding total loss updates, deficiency balance options, and educating them throughout the process.
Processes and tracks incoming checks.
Sorts and processes mail.
Contributes to team efforts by providing support as needed.
Minimum Qualifications:
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
Licensure: N/A
Experience: Minimum of two years of experience and/or knowledge of a financial institution is preferred.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Strong working knowledge of financial services operational processes. Passion for accuracy. Must be able to work in a face paced, team-oriented environment. Excellent communication skills both verbally and in writing. Ability to work effectively with others. Ability to react to change positively and to identify, research, document and resolve problems effectively and efficiently. Strong organizational skills and effective time management is required. Strong ability to pay attention to detail.
