In this role, you play a key part in supporting Elekta's global Field Service organization. You act as an expert point of escalation for complex service cases at regional and national level, working closely with service teams to resolve issues that require in-depth technical analysis. You investigate complex technical problems, identify root causes, and support the definition and execution of corrective action plans. Where needed, you provide on-site service support to ensure issues are resolved effectively and sustainably. You are actively involved in design and development projects as the service lead, representing the service perspective throughout the product lifecycle. You contribute to decisions related to serviceability, reliability, usability, quality and lifecycle cost, ensuring that new solutions can be installed, serviced and supported efficiently in the field. You define service parts lists, develop and validate installation and service procedures, and create technical documentation and training materials. You also play a key role in defining certification programs for Elekta service engineers and support the rollout of new systems through regional hand-over activities, including first-in-country installations. Knowledge transfer is an important part of your role. You support global and regional service teams by sharing expertise, maintaining technical knowledge bases and delivering technical training courses. You are involved in on-site certification of service engineers and help build long-term service capability within the organization. In addition, you proactively monitor the performance of the global installed base. You analyze customer feedback and complaints as part of post-market surveillance activities, identify trends, and translate insights into concrete improvement actions to enhance system reliability and overall performance.
