People Services Specialist

The role of the People Services Specialist is to provide effective transactional and administrative support to managers and employees in the assigned geographical area.

Responsibilities include:

  • General HR Administration support
  • Acting as the first line response for all employee queries
  • Providing advice and guidance on Elekta's HR policies and procedures
  • Updating and amending HR policies regularly
  • Being a geographical and/or process subject matter expert where required
  • Creating, managing, and reviewing HR employee templates
  • Consistently ensuring that employee files and the employee portal are reviewed and updated
  • Acting as a superuser of Workday for data changes during the employee lifecycle
  • Ensuring employee data is accurate and updated in a timely manner
  • Providing induction and on-boarding support to new hires
  • Participating in various People projects, process improvements, and Service Center activities
  • Managing and processing payroll controls
  • Handling absence related tasks including tracking and general support
  • Being responsible for the Local Comp & Benefits Admin
  • Providing admin support for HR related QA audits

Relevant Knowledge, Skills, and Competencies

  • University degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Economics, or equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience, preferably from a generalist role gained in a dynamic, matrix, and change-oriented global organization with process complexity
  • Good knowledge of HR related administration, processes, and procedures
  • Ability to manage a busy workload, work flexibly adapting to changing priorities, and meet expectations
  • Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written) in English
  • Experience and knowledge in Microsoft Office package, specifically Excel and Word
  • Confidentiality and the ability to deal with sensitive information discreetly is essential
  • Proactive and service-minded approach
